The baby Lou looks in the mirror and count her freckles that, as she thinks, appear every other second.
By her side, there’s a fluffy red cat, her fur is sleek and shiny. There’s no such thing in her universe as counting strands of fur. She knows it really well there’s enough of them. She’s also aware that the girl won’t even notice her meowing.
Finally, the cat manages to push the mirror from the table, and now all Lou can see is her grumpy cat face.
With a sigh, the girl agrees to let the cat go for a walk…
